Arsenal Middle School Mentoring and Partnership Opportunity

Join us in supporting Arsenal Middle School students by becoming a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters this school year.

Arsenal Middle School, located blocks away from CHP, is a part of the Pittsburgh Public Schools and is composed of predominantly minority students and its students have high rates of poverty. Big Brothers, Big Sisters has a longstanding mentoring program with Arsenal students and needs mentor volunteers. This is a great opportunity to partner with Arsenal and provide students with a mentor in the field of medicine/science.

The ask:

• Mentor one student from 12-1pm on two Tuesdays per month, starting in the end of October and going through the remainder of the school year.
• Meetings are virtual
• You are matched with based on intake (including student interests and languages spoken- needs for Spanish, French, Arabic).
• Potential for more longitudinal mentorship with more potential to help students succeed long term
